October 22, 2026 · Adult pilot release

• District owners and administrators now have a private workspace for approved staff emails and district access.
• Owners can manage up to 25 additional administrators and transfer ownership to an existing verified staff account.
• Administrative and teaching roles remain separate. Removing an administrator or blocking district teaching access preserves questions and classes.
• Admin-only accounts can sign in and manage account security. District admins cannot view teacher analytics or change approved domains.

Staff lists do not create accounts or send notifications. EdLudia onboarding is still required for new or unconnected teachers. Student gameplay and public registration remain closed.

Question Previews & District Connections

• Preview your own game-code questions with shuffled answers, no-repeat cycles, formatted math, and explanations. Preview answers do not affect analytics.
• Connect existing teachers to their approved district through the administrator screen without losing their questions or classes.
• Added a pointer-following and keyboard-controlled reading guide to accessibility settings.
• Expanded the tested 4 in a Row rules foundation. Multiplayer connections remain closed while room authorization and networking are developed.

Pilot Teacher Invitations & Account Controls

• Invite approved teachers with single-use email verification and password setup.
• Search teacher accounts, resend or cancel invitations, suspend access, and restore access without deleting questions.
• Grant complimentary Teacher Pro without enabling billing or AI. Approved district staff invitations use district access.
• Added an isolated database-backup restore rehearsal. Off-server backups remain pending.

Email invitations require the support mailbox connection. Public registration and student gameplay remain closed.

Google Sign-In & Optional Website Analytics

• Added Google account linking for approved pilot accounts. Configuration and a matching Google email are required.
• Added private administrator controls for Google sign-in and website analytics.
• Added opt-in marketing analytics on public pages only. Account pages, classroom content, and games are excluded.

Public registration, student access, and playable multiplayer rooms remain in development.

Teacher Organization & Game Codes

October 19, 2026 · Teacher testing release

• Organize questions by class, subject, category, and standard. Search, filter, audit missing assignments, and update selections in bulk.
• Import and export CSV files with row-level results and a downloadable template.
• Use restricted rich text, code blocks, and LaTeX math previews without images.
• Create, edit, duplicate, and delete fixed-selection game codes without deleting their questions.
• Configure support email privately and request single-use password-reset links after email setup.
• Expanded layouts, uppercase buttons, and bold links without underlines.

Play sessions, student accounts, Google sign-in, staff collaboration, and public registration remain in development. Game codes can be prepared, but cannot yet launch games. MathML input is not included; LaTeX previews include accessible MathML output.

Accessibility at your fingertips

Moved accessibility settings from the navigation to a small, fixed bottom-right button. The settings panel supports keyboard focus, Escape to close, and smaller screens. Existing device preferences are preserved.

Pilot accounts and question workspace

• Added approved teacher and platform administrator sign-in, secure sessions, sign-out, and password changes.
• Added a private teacher question bank with create/edit tools, answer validation, and storage limits.
• Added initial district creation with approved domains and complimentary pilot access.
• Connected separate staging and production PostgreSQL databases.

Public registration, email recovery, Google sign-in, student access, game codes, and playable rooms are not available yet. This release is not classroom-ready.

Application foundation

September 29, 2026 · Development release

• Created the TypeScript web application and shared game rules.
• Added keyboard-friendly navigation, adjustable text, contrast, spacing, and motion preferences.
• Established version control, automated checks, and a repeatable release build.
• Added the first database migration and permission tests.

Accounts, question management, and multiplayer rooms are still in development.
